Living with MS certainly has it’s ups and downs. One minute you have all the feeling in in your hands and feet and the next they are numb and tingly…kinda like when they go to sleep but this time they aren’t going to be waking up anytime soon. You are in a constant state of pain and when you add in the pain from the fibromyalgia, degenerative disk disease, degenerative joint disease, avascular neucrosis, and arthritis then you are in even more pain!
When you get used to the pain you never get used to the fall here and the fall there. Sometimes you end up being injured, other times you aren’t. There’s the occasional bout with Optical Neuritis that just has to run it’s course since I can’t take steroids to help eliminate the problem.
