These windsocks are a great rainy day project for the kiddo’s or could even be a project to do at a birthday party or other type of gathering. It gives the kids something to do and it also gives them a memento from the event they attended.
tin cans (tip: line the inside rim of the cans with a layer or two of masking tape to avoid sharp edges)
assorted colorful ribbon and glue (not pictured)
Optional embellishments – glitter, stickers, gemstones, sequins, etc.
Remove bottom of can so that the can is open on both ends.
Paint can however you want it painted.
Glue a piece of ribbon to one side of the can & the other end to the other side of the can to hang the windsock from.
Cut strips of ribbon the & glue them to the inside of the bottom of the can so they hang down and dangle in the wind.
Decorate the can with glitter, stickers, gemstones, sequins, etc.
