Boca Raton, FL, June 13, 2018 – High America (www.HighAmerica.org), a 501c3 whose mission is to educate and generate awareness on the opiate epidemic, has appointed Joseph Radich as new board member.

“Working on High America’s board of members I aim to help spread awareness about opioid use and the vast array of consequences it has on individuals in our communities” said Radich, newly appointed board member for High America. “It is an honor to be a part of an organization that notices the severity of opioid addiction and is attacking it in full swing” added Radich.

Before joining High America’s Board of Directors Joseph Radich achieved an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise physiology and exercise science. Later, he received a Master’s Degree in Public Health and PA Studies along with a fellowship from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

After achieving such honored degrees he went on study under Dr. Al Sear’s, one of the country’s most influential Alternative Medicine doctors. During his under study program he was named Clinical Director at The Sears Wellness Institute and through further education became a Physician Trainer and lead consultant in the Functional/Integrative and Regenerative Medicine.

Having gained more knowledge than before Radich took one more step further and launched his own practice – RenewU Medical with offices in both Palm Beach Florida and New York City.

During spare time, Radich enjoys being an active tri-athlete and spending time in New York and Palm Beach with friends and family.

“Knowing that he graduated from one of the top 10 PA programs in the country spoke volumes to us at High America” said Jason Golden, Co-Founder and Director at High America. “Knowing that he has the knowledge, passion, and experience in alternative medicine strengthens our mission to spread awareness about opioid addiction” added Golden.

High America is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding more research into treatment, creating a nationwide advertising campaign to heighten awareness of the opioid epidemic, distributing Narcan to those who need it, and assisting families who have been affected. High America also plans to underwrite programs leading to a nationwide focus on prevention and education programs for schools, while creating the largest web presence offering opioid abuse information and assistance.
